Yesterday we went to the park, walking an unusual path
...the quicksnow was treacherous and tried to swallow us whole
...the locals that couldn't afford to take a holiday down south were hanging at their usual dive
...it was peaceful and quiet
...and growing on us.
We knew we'd find the cuckoo's nest
...amongst the memories of summers past
...trying not to swallow too much snow
...and finding the beauty of simple things.
