Couldn't go to work today... Just too tired of everything

I'm done with drinking for a while and smoking for good. Self destruction as a stress reliever doesn't work it just makes me feel empty and sad.

The PC monitor died yesterday and with it died the money I was saving to have a decent Christmas/birthday. This year 2007 will have made our lives shitty until the very end. Living paycheck to paycheck with no savings whatsoever is not a life. Especially when you're about to turn 35.

Bro, the important thing to remember is that you have a roof over your head, someone to wake up to, bills paid, and food in the fridge. Don't loose sight of that because that's a helluva lot more than a lot of people on this Earth. Hell, I don't even have as much as what you have (Haven't had my own roof since the summer & I sure as hell don't have someone to wake up to) but I endure and move forward.

Christmas isn't just about gift-giving/receiving. To me, it's simply a reason to spend time w/ those you love the most. That doesn't really require money (unless you're talking about food and stuff). but that's besides the point. You get what I mean, right?

That's how my year was, too. It started off well, ended with a big middle finger. Everything broke down at once. Lame.
