Guess it's high time to update that stuff. With that new layout thingy, I can hardly be bothered (if at all) to update and/or comment. I think I really don't like it so much and it's not a question of novelty since it has been on a month or so already. I will get back to all the people who took time to comment on my page though. Thanks for visiting it's always appreciated.
News... Things are finally starting to be looking up!
Last week was more eventful than the last 2 months or so. On N's birthday, I received my work authorization card in the mail! Talk about a great birthday present
I never thought I would cheer & welcome the news of incoming work but being broke is so frustrating and having no social status whatsoever is something I realized I highly dislike. I want a big management job in order to make big money and spend it as I please without having to count my pennies. That's basically it.
We went to the social security office and I'm going to receive my card probably early next week. As for the driving license, we went there to validate my French license in order to get a Florida one but their computers were down so we made an appointment for this Thursday.
Back to the work thing, I've updated my monster.com profile & contacted my ex company (Synovate) and applied for 3 jobs on their website. I am now waiting to hear from them, which should happen soon, seeing how my background and work experience with them in the UK is very relevant. We'll see. Fingers crossed & all that.
Today's (and every day's) plan now is to find all the biggest MR companies in the US and send them cv's - or should I say "rsums"

N has received confirmation that she now has a MA in Jungian & Post-Jungian studies (parapsychology, psychology & the unconscious). I'll buy her a t-shirt that reads "I'm with stupid" More seriously it's great to be with someone you can talk to for hours about challenging things and concepts. Never been a big fan of small talk - I know I'm too serious sometimes.
Onto the music, I am starting to find my way along a few wares that really rock. Right now I'm on Native Instruments' Battery 2 & Kontakt 2. It's very cool although it is slow work - pages & pages of (not so clear) manuals to digest...!
And I'll finish with the news that there is a new Juliana set (as I just discovered at the bottom of this page while typing this update) so take a moment to go send her some
