I just got home from Lisbon.
I spent the better part of last week, five days. We stayed at a hotel near the site of the 1998 World Expo, an impressive place. Sadly, it was the only impressive place. Don't get me wrong, Lisbon has really nice sights, is a town fillwed with history and great people, but the word crisis becomes so tangible when you spent some time in a place like that one. All in all, I liked Portugal, the small towns like Nazareth and Obidos are really really beautiful, an energy hard to express in words, like time itself ran slowly throu those towns.
As for the job hunt, I'm still on it, is so hard to find a job here, specially being a foreigner, I'm sticking to my guns, I made a gamble for this country and city and I'm sticking to it.
Also, my dad is visiting, meaning that my usual routine is going to hell, is gonna be hard to work around the stuff I'm working on to spend time with him.
