Hey there my fellow lurkers of this SG universe, how is it going?
I've been busy these last few days, cause I finally got called for a short film i signed up, I'm in the art crew (aka the creators) and I gotta say I'm having the time of my life, this is so freaking fun. First I have to confess that I have zero manual skills, Im basically useless when it comes to painting, sculpting or building anything, so as you can imagine this is a big challenge for me. But somehow I'm putting through, not only I'm doing good, but I'm getting kudos from my fellow art people.
It's a cool proyect, the screenplay is based on a short story by Horacio Quiroga called "La gallina degollada" (The beheaded hen) from the book "Cuentos de amor, locura y muerte" (Love hate and death stories) which happen to be one of my favorite books. It's a period piece, the setting is the 1920's so we have to create the whole atmosphere, it's challange but we are all up to tackle it.
The coolest part it's the location, we are setting up in this big old house in the middle of Barcelona. It's huge, they told me it was owned by some noble family in the early 1900's. It's so freaking creepy, you can shoot a terror film on every floor, not to mentio the attic and basement. So far i've been a bit busy to take pics, but trust me, I'm gonna take plenty and poste them here, you got to see it.

I saw them in a reasonably small place before (much bigger than this upcoming show, mind you) and they were unreal!
