Whew, just got back from kayaking again. This time we worked on rolls in a lake, and played "paddle gladiator" which was hilarious... haha, one of the girls actually ran OVER the instructor's boat on accident. But it was pretty chilly... though I had one of my Dad's "cookie bars" for comfort... he sent 'em all the way from the west coast! awww.

tee hee!So I just got back from Maine... it was freezing and windy, and yet invigorating. Kayaking on black water, slicing through icy air, with white caps highlighting the rocky coast is so... beautiful.

i'm just getting really tired of seeing the same buildings, same streets, same people, same skyline, same everything! i do love seattle, i'm just terrifically bored with it, and all of the awesome people from far away cities that i've been meeting in the past 6 months ago are only deepening my ennui.
or maybe its because the weather is starting to change.

percussion, huh? i've played a few drums in my life, though completely different than playing in an orchestra! that's pretty cool though. instruments take a lot of discipline. discipline that i don't really have.

and no, i don't know how to delete comments. i don't even know how to edit when you're writing on someone's journal page.
