So, last week there was a post on the SG New York forum that if you weren't going to take part in the forum or events you'd get booted.
Now I find this interesting. I've gone to events, left a number of new topics and tried to hold my own party...with absolutly no response from anyone from SGNY. The party I had two people show up, but other than that there has been no response.
So why should I bother with keeping up with with SGNY when it's pretty obvious that nobody in the clique...er, community is willing to get to know someone? Frankly it's dumbfounding and very frustrating.
My sister's visit was a ton of fun! After she left, though I was a bit sad and more than lonely. The charms of NYC have gone the way of summer and the desire to stay around here is ebbing.
On the plus side, I met up with one of the girls I've been talking with and we had a good time together. I will say, though, that she was hot -- probably too hot for me and more than out of my league. Who knows, maybe she's myoptic and I come off as better looking than what I am
