I'm not dead!
So, I realized that it's been nearly a week since I've updated this page. The holiday / 3 day weekend always throws me off a bit.
So, taking a trip back to the last post, I mentioned a girl...who I've been spending a ton of time with since then. Hence the lack of updates. It's going quite well and we have that "click" and "spark" thing going on. For once I've met someone who (1) can hold a conversation, (2) is actually into me as much as I'm into her and (3) has had more world experiences that I can ever hope for. Shit, on my birthday I was having a shitty time throwing myself a pathetic party...she was hanging out in Tibet and climbing Mt. Everest. It's very cool overall and 'bout time!
Today is my one-year review at work. Must get my signing bonus and hopefully a raise. I'm pretty confident that things are going to go well, although the one worker who I've been having...issues with is the only problematic area. But she can get fucked for all I care.
Free Concert in McCarren Park (in Greenpoint on Bedford): Sunday, 6:00 p.m.: Brooklyn Kickball League All-Star Championship Concert with The Giraffes, The Vitamen and Black Cat Revolver! I was reading about how the lead singer for the Giraffes gets so worked up he has multiple heart attacks on stage (due to a defective heart) and that his built in pacemaker / difibulator is the only thing that keeps him alive.
Now that's some good punk!
