Oh man...this town does suck if you're single and trying to meet someone.
Had a "date" with yet another person who's lost any spark of life...like talking to a piece of wood, really. Oh well, the only thing lost was a bit of time and probably a few brain cells from a beer.
Got out of the house at 7:30 a.m. and it was already a beautiful day! Too bad most things won't open / start until noon. I guess I'll never get over the Midwest deal of things opening up at 7:00 a.m. so that everyone can get a jump on the day. The goal today is to walk from...maybe Canal to Central Park. Which really isn't that bad -- something like 60 blocks?
Grilling tomorrow -- London Broil with a soy-ginger marinade, broccoli and corn on the cob. Tonight might be this great cauliflower dish I found -- a curried salad with baked tofu.

Totally, I know. I'm stupid that way. Oh, there will be further beatings and fun if we ever see each other again, there always is. He lives in the Phoenix area now, so that's why I don't see him that often.
