Google Home Page is a new service that the search engine just fired up in the last few hours. Similar to other portals, you can not only get your Gmail but also news, movies, weather and more. Pretty cool and a good use of the search engine!
Primer is a must-see movie! I had heard about this film about 6 months ago when it was making the rounds at all of the film festivals, such as Sundance. The main actor was also the writer, director, producer, editor, etc. -- he wore 7 hats I think and made the movie for $7000! Trust me when I say that it looks like a feature film. Very impressive!
If you're into quantum theory, causality and paradox then you'll get off on this flick. I will say that it's heavy into both the quantum theory and causality but the paradox part is lightly touched on. I am one who follows most of the tennants of paradox and some of the things that happen in the film fly in the face of that. Although if current technology can bend nanotubes by using an Atomic Force Microscope (AFM) then having possible fluxes in a possible loop (without paradoxal consequences) could happen.
Cornell Dots vs. Collidol Quantum Dots -- very interesting to see which comes out ahead I'm leaning to the CUdots since the applications fora a fluorescent nanoparticle has more possiblities.

Ah, science. The one subject (along with advanced trig and algebra) that I excelled at. Too bad the artist in me had more sway then common sense!
