oh man, wotta day.
started off with me waking up around 3:45 a.m. wide awake -- about 1/2 hour earlier than normal. That's cool, though...allowed me to get some stuff done.
The gym was empty -- or at least the jackasses that drive me nuts weren't around, so I got a good workout in.
Hit work and spent 8 hours doing...nothing. Note to self: get a new freakin' job!
Okay, so dig this. Yesterday I had to go and get something for my sister's upcoming birthday...plus I needed some new kicks. Well, I saw that there's an Adidis store down on Wooster and Prince -- right by where I wanted to go to get something for my sis. Since it was a grand day outside I walked all over the place...screw the subway!
Got down there and got me some new shoes (which i now have to return -- damn things rubbed the back of my heels raw
) then headed over to the Bluefly store. This is the retail end of the website -- they usually keep the stores open for a month, then close down for a bit. The idea behind it is super-cheap high end fashion / brand names.
I start going through the racks finding some things that were pretty damn awesome and low-priced. At one point I had to double-check on the ticket prices so I wouldn't go over...the woman behind the register told me that everything was $10! Holy crap!
Well, being the nerd that I am I got home and calculated how much money I would have spent on the clothes that I did get: $1240 -- instead, all I paid was $50! One dress I got her retailed at $600 -- which I got for $10

Watched Raging Bull again -- powerful movie and De Niro's top acting gig, period.
How many of you have found that people assume that this site is all porn pictures rather than a community that deals a bit with erotic subject material? People I talk with think that we're all peepin' on cute girls or having rampant sex parties. I noticed some banners on other sites for SG that really don't help get the scope of the site across...
Is it a matter of sex sells? Would more people be inclined to join if there was also an emphasis on community along with nekkid pics?
