wow, it's been a while since I've updated this.
I guess I decided to be unplugged this weekend and spent more time away from the pooputer than on the damn machine.
Got in a bit of time watching a few DVD's. "Stander" with Thomas Jane was much better than what I thought and made me want to rob banks and throw the finger at the "man". Well worth watching especially if your in the anti-authoritarian mode.
The other DVD was the first disk of the Wonderfalls TV show. I'm going on my sixth year of not watching TV...but I still keep up with certain genres. Wonderfalls was covered by Sci Fi a few times so I decided to see what the hubbub was about.
Once again, Fox fucked up a great TV show by cancelling it only a few episodes after it aired. Naturally it was due to "ratings" but what do you expect when it was put against other higher-rated shows with no support? This same thing happened to they hyperly amazing Firefly not too long ago.
Wonderfalls revolves around a 'Gen Y' girl who's educated, smarmy and stuck in a dead-end retail gig...who also manages to pick up some kinda odd ability to hear inanimate objects telling her stuff. The things she hears usually pertains to people but in a cryptic way.
The show is very, very well written and the cast is incredibly enthralling -- let alone excellent direction and music. Do yourself a favor and rent both!
Oh, and to continue the trend of food discussion...tonight was very traditional Shrimp Curry with Jasmine rice. Top that off with a bunch of drinks and Girl Scout cookies...a good night overall.
Kill Whitey!
Good night.

Good night.
although the curry sounds kick ass. where did you go for it?
I know you *have* to have some ideas.
We need an anthem.
I also need some suggestions for music for us to play during our St. Patrick's Day parade appearance.
Everybody's been throwing out ideas, but I know you'll probably come up with stuff that no one's even thought of.
Email me off-site. You know where.
