Soooo....here's what has been going on with m.o.i.
For the last week I've been working like a MADMAN! At that point I had considered becoming a madam, 'cause acting like a female pimp couldn't have been any harder. Basically in two weeks I had one day off...and last week I put in just under 30 hours extra. Yow! We are in the thick of things with Pokemon and have a ton of different plans in action...which is good. Poor planning, though, that is bad.
In two days i'll be flying out of NYC (WOOOO!!!) and heading down to Walt Disney World for the annual vacation. I am so ready to get out of the city that I'm ready to walk there.
It's also going to be good seeing my parents and spending some time with them
On the new girl front, it looks like we have a winnah! Unlike every girl I've met since moving here...this one is real. Part of that is the fact that she's from the Midwest and, even though she's been here for 10 years, hasn't fallen into the bullshit trap that so many people are in. We have a ton of interests in common and even do the (slightly scary) finishing eah other's thoughts / sentences. And a mutual attraction, which is great. Oh yeah, she also has a real job and isn't freelance -- talk about a real change of pace! This one is a keeper and makes the others looked like chopped beef.
I've decided to buy a residence! Yeah, believe it. I talked with the bank and they gave me a general idea on what I could get financially so now it's a matter of finding a good place in my price range and then doing the dance between the bank and the home owner. When I did this in Indiana it was a breeze -- out here it's so much red tape and jumping through hoops I'm amazed that anyone would bother. I found on realtor, though that had some choice listing
Anyone notice that the PSP now has some awesome games coming out? Good news! Now if I only had the time to play any of 'em....
