So, Babbo rocked. Expensive (dinner for two = $250) but fantastic and worth the money. Service was top-notch without being kiss-ass and the food...good lord the food was mindblowing. One of the best dishes was this grilled octopus app that had both me and my date going into orgasm mode
That was also a heavy drink night then some really hot times later on
This weekend marked the debut of the NYC ComicCon -- which I ended up working in exchange for a dealer's pass. Well worth the time and man, was it crowded! They actually shut down Javits on Saturday due to the number of people that showed and Sunday they even stopped selling tickets. I guess people were very pissed at that -- especially since they had to wait outside in the cold!
Got a great deal, though on this Secret Base Valentine set! SB stuff is a new favorite of mine, but very expensive. Most of the figures run anywhere from $60 - $100 each....
This week should be very nice -- the prick I sit next to is out in Thailand and I'm going to be annoyance free for 5 days
