Unlike many (most) American Graffiti artists, England leans a bit to the political statement end. This amazing piece comes from Mantis. Fuck Apple

Brokeback Mountain was really good, but not really worth all of the Academy hype / praise. Heath Ledger turns in an amazing performance -- reminded me of many people I use to know. hmm...now I wonder if all of the rough-and-tumble guys who were like that were gay...
Go see it, though. The landscape alone was worth the ticket price and once again makes me wonder why someone would want to live in a city when we have such beauty that's still out there.
STILL haven't decided on whether or not to spend the $40 to get tickets to see Lacuna Coil. They're opening for Rob Zombie...who I really wouldn't mind that much but I really just want to see them.
The Cult is touring! That should prove to be a good one to go see -- if you were into 'em. What I'd love is a reunion of Southern Death Cult -- Or even just Death Cult. They're all the same band, just in different evolutionary stages.
Other shows of interest:
+ Sisters of Mercy + Warlocks = way over priced at $50, or the same day is the reunion show of The Wedding present. While I like Sisters...$50...c'mon! March 6th
+ Bleeding Through and Every Time I die -- March 8th at Irving Plaza ($18). Haven't heard Bleeding Through, but Every Time I Die is amazing! Well worth the ticket price alone.
+ Motion City Soundtrack -- March 22nd at Irving Plaza. Good Punk Pop without all of that Epitaph stigma

Oh yeah...nearly forgot -- Empire Magazine has been interviewing me! Turns out they're going to do a story on the figures I collect (Kubricks) and we've been going back and forth with a Q & A session...plus they want photographs!

That's awesome on the interview!!!
Let me know when it comes out (and where I can get a copy)!!
