Nothing new on the job search, although Ziff Davis did email be back twice on Friday. That's good. Very good...
Who knows what's going on, though with the girl that I might, maybe sorta not sorta seeing. As with nearly everone I've met since i moved here...she's freelance, which means that she isn't grounded, nor has any solid dedication outside of looking for more money / work. Unfortunately this aspect tends to spill over into her life (as with others I've met) which causes problems.
The one label I hate more than anything else is...fuck buddy. It should be "I don't want to invest my time, emotion, respect, so drop-your-pants buddy". Ain't nothing like knowing that you're right up there with a vibrator.
Underworld 2 opened this weekend, which is good. I liked the first film and heard this is more of the same. Woo!
Deadwood (HBO Series) turned out to be better than what I thought and I'm curious to see how that one plays out, although I seem to remember that it was cancelled.
AND...finally picked up the one Secret Base figure I wanted to get from Toy Tokyo's new shop in Williamsburg (in the same mall as Earwax). It's the very cool Secret Base Skull 2 Mantis (Hulk Edition). There's 150 made and I haven't seen any outside of a photo in a magazine. That's good! Although my bank account wasn't happy
