So the wee kitty had a hematoma, eh? Oh, dear! Yes, they can be EXPENSIVE little charmers, can't they?! Quite the drain on the old income, at times. It would appear that I shall soon have to take Newman in for a teeth cleaning and minor surgery (he has a tiny polyp on his back, left leg), which will most likely set me back approx. 500.00 bucks. HOLY SHIT! Pass the 20/20!!

Looking forward to seeing that American Hardcore film, as well. (Yeah, the site is FABULOUS.) It's funny, but, back in the 80's when I was actually attending these shows (DRI, COC, Poison Idea, Circle Jerks, etc.), I felt that the scene was exceptionally fucked up. Just a bunch of dudes (we are talking about the people in the audience, mind you) that were intent on getting exceedingly drunk and beating the living crap out of everyone around them. My friend Marnie and I were often the only two gals in the audience...and we were ignored UTTERLY, as the guys were so focused on throwing punches and shit-stomping each other. Crazy!
