Ever notice the bizarre architectural style of the American Brewery Building on Gay Street? Its medieval countenance infused upon classic Baltimore brick, its flagrant asymmetry, its severe olive-colored steeple?
"I've heard it called Prussian Gothic," says local aesthete Jacques Kelly of The Sun. "It's really beautiful, but it's been completely neglected. The insides have turned to whipped cream."
Which is at least part of what makes the old building so much fun to visit. Staring up at its crusty facade is like cruising the famous Maleco'n strip in Havana_if you close your eyes, you can almost hear the building crumbling apart, a comforting kind of proof that now is the last, best time of all, because later makes no promises.

Not that you asked but MizVixen did so here's my opinion, the Oscars SUCKED! I don't want Ellen to get the blame though. I thought she was really good as the hostess but the writers really need to be fired for sure. Some of them anyway. And, the focus needs to be more on the big awards etc. So the show can be maybe an hour shorter.
Grass grows in Vegas year round too but right now, we don't have any. When we moved in the house, the back yard isn't landscaped so I have a lovely dirt pile
