so at about 4 pm today my buddy kevin called me up and told me that vassline was playing at 630 in seoul. vassline is a korean hardcore band thats kinda similar to skycamefalling. so i jumped up and ran off to see vassline play for the last time. ive seen those guys play at least 10 times now but i had to see them one last time before i leave. well they i showed up and kevin told me they were playing with vanilla unity. vanilla unity is trash. they sound like the used and finch. well i was like fuck this is gonna be a short night cuz i sure as fuck wasnt gonna watch vanilla shit play live again. well vassline only played like 5 songs so i was really pissed but seeing as how i got in for free (kevin owns the record label that vassline is on so i always get in for free whenever one of the bands on dope music is playing) i really shouldnt have been. so kevin remembers about the other show that is going on a block away. sahon was playing with a bunch of korean death metal bands. sahon is a slayer ripoff and they are the only korean band that i like as much as vassline. well i get in there for free as well cuz they are on dope music as well. ive seen these guys play a whole bunch of times and they had never played my favorite song by them, "ugly shit american" before. its just a ridiculous song and they arent allowed to play it cuz it offends people, obviously. so i went up to in hak, their guitarist and said "you guys gotta play usa tonight cuz its the last time ill be able to see you play and you guys have never played it." he was like "if we play that song kevin will kick us off the record label". i told him that i would "deal with kevin". so he agreed to play it. and they did. and it was awesome. all i had to tell kevin was that they were playing it because "i asked them to and there were no other americans there that would take offense to it." he said he was cool with it so hopefully they dont get in any trouble. kevin is a pretty good friend of mine so im pretty sure they wont take any shit for it. well it ended up being a pretty awesome day, considering i was just gonna stay at the barracks all day playing stupid video games. so thats all ive got for now. bye bye.
