i am currently:
-still unemployed
-still loving it
-AN UNCLE!!!!
-home from my friends wedding this past weekend
-not enjoying my sun burn
-selling tons of stuff on craigslist
-going to see Iron Maiden tomorrow night (vip tickets and parking)
-addicted to Lego Star Wars 2
-looking forward to July
-really digging the new squeak set
-thinking about having a peanut butter and jelly sandwich
-not able to pass a drug test anymore

my sister had her baby yesterday! William Charles is here to reek havoc. he was 4 weeks early but everything looks to be fine. there was some concern about my sisters fluid levels and some worry about there not being enough for him to really do his thing in there. after 3 days in the hospital and countless ultrasounds and checkups they decided to go ahead and perform the c-section since everything looked really good. my sister is fine and so happy. my parents can finally relax and start enjoying grandparenthood. i look forward to seeing him very soon.

the quick trip home was a lot of fun. me and megan left thursday night and drove to columbus to spend the evening wit a friend down there. friday morning we got up and drove to huntington wv to visit my sister for the afternoon. at the time she was very pregnant and in the hospital receiving fluids. we stayed there till around 7 and then drove to my parents. didn't really do anything that night, it was too late and we were tired. saturday was filled with lots of sleeping in and laziness. we had a wedding to go to that evening, which was a fantastic time. got to see a bunch of people that i haven't' seen in some time and ate some amazing food. got some dancing in and watched megan get smashed. she was really funny, and i was so happy to be there with her. really put me in a wedding state of mind.

while i was home i was lucky enough to be able to spend some time in the water. there are some really beautiful spots on the river back home that i hold close to my heart. i was afraid the water might still be a bit too cold, which it was, but i braved it and got in. it was such a nice day and super relaxing. there were a lot of people there and i bumped into about 10 friends from various points in my life. that's one of the great things about going home, never knowing who i might run into but always seeing someone. me and meg both got a pretty nice sun burn while there, but it was well worth it.

as mentioned above, i'm in the middle of a pretty heavy lego star wars addiction. so i think i'm going to make that sandwich and go sit in front of the tv for a bit.
