things are going really good right now. i almost don't like saying that, because it always seems to come back and bite me in the ass. but fuck it, i'm pretty damn happy these days. i could be happier, but i'll take what i've got right now.
so the new site layout. whatever. it's taking some getting used to, but for the most part i like it. for some reason the sets never pop up on the front page. i have to refresh it like 5 times to get them to show up. anyone got any suggestions there. i do kind of miss the simple layout of the old site, but i'm sure i'll get used to this.
christ on a crutch!!!! i just remembered. everyone please go tell saraphine that she can't leave this site. her buddy the K.O.T. here might just die if she does. and who wants that.
my goodness she's wonderful.
the camping trip was a great time. it's kinda hard calling it camping, we weren't roughing it by any stretch of the imagination. the cabin we stayed at was bad ass. it was in the middle of nowhere, which was a plus. the weather could not have been better. the mushrooms were fantastic. i fucking love those little guys. mixed them in with my omelette wednesday morning. a great time was had by all. my buddy mike's girlfriend KJ and i seemed to be on the same wavelength the entire time. that was nice, she's a great person and i'm always afraid that she thinks that i just think of her as my buddies girlfriend. i was glad to get to hang out with her for the better part of the time. i do regret not making it out to this waterfall we heard about. lost the motivation somewhere along the way. it's certainly a place that i plan on visiting again. hopefully with a special someone in colorado.
watched Dave Chappelles Block Party yesterday. i enjoyed every bit of that. i had forgotten how much i love the fugees. that was pretty fantastic to see them together again. i've been to the little town that Chappelle is from. it really is a neat little place. i've gone a bunch of times and just hung out, hoping to maybe bump into him. no sightings yet, but apparently if i keep trying it will happen. i've met some cool people there and i guess it's pretty normal for him to just show up all the time. everyone there seems to know him and has some story about something they did with Dave. cool fucking guy.
i've been on a huge red hot chili peppers blood sugar sex magik kick lately. to this day i think it's the greatest album ever recorded. really.
