todays stuff.

-kobe bryant went crazy and scored 81 points tonight.
-god damn the seahawks were ready to play.
-just watched the aristocrats, fucking rediculous.
-except for my bedroom, the apartment is really clean.
-new candle holders are bad ass.
-currently kinda stoned and pretty hungry.


stumbled across a thread awhile ago that asked to explain your name. besides the homestar reference, it made me think of steph. when the two of us would go to macintosh's and get loaded. she'd be the "star of the bar." always demanding drinks and often breaking stuff. and i'd be the "king of town." the only one laughing out loud at my sisters path of destruction and telling everyone else around what i really thought of them.

but it was all in good fun.

it's been quite awhile since we've done that. it was nice to have that memory for awhile tonight. weird to think that it might not happen again. at least it won't be that fun.

we really would be quite a mess together.

jenny's wedding reception. quite a few cocktails into the evening. steph drops a champagne flute and it shatters on the ground. between the shock and drunkeness she doens't realize that she sliced her toe open. instead just sweeps the broken glass out of her way with her foot. i hardly notice because it's really nothing new to me.

a waiter comes over to her and asks if she is alright. her response: "it's kind of a muggy day." that's really what she said. i was there.

the waiter, kind of confused steps away. my sister takes a step forward, stepping out on the cut foot for the first time. drops the new glass in her hand she got while talking to the waiter and screams "my foot is bleeding!?"

everybody kind of looks at us for a second. only thing i can come up with is, "of course it is." the night would never be the same.


i'm really glad i came across that thread.
