Current Music: Chimaira - The Impossibility of Reason
i had last night off work. yay! i spent it out with my friends jamie and andrew. we went over to jamie's house and there was a little bit of chaos going on over there. two of jamie's little sisters play on rep soccer teams, so they're all over the place. jamie's mother was out with the older one and his grandparents were out with the other. there was a phone call from the grand parents saying that the younger sister was kicked prett hard and may have broken a rib, they were waiting on an ambulance to bring her to the hospital. when jamie's mother returned home she was in a panic. she wanted to go see her daughter, but she wanted to wait at the phone in case they'd call. at one point we were told she was in getting an x-ray then an hour later they said she hasn't had any x-rays and has yet to see a doctor, silly jamie's grandparents. they said something about not being able to get an x-ray yet (the other sister joked that she could be pregnant
), something about her liver, her being on morphine, i dunno what was going on, jamie's parents left to go see her. at like 4:00 jamie's stepdad came back.....i'm guessing he came back with the grandparents and got dropped off cuz when i was leaving a half hour later jamie's mother's van wasn't outside.
while they were gone jamie, andrew and i drove to orangveille to go get frozen daquiri mix (strawberry daquiris are the only thing we can get jamie to drink) and snacks at the 24 hour sobeys. we had a couple daquiris, watched spiderman 2 and tehy guys fell asleep. so being bored when the movie was over at like 4:30 i came home.
it was thunderstorming last night too. when i got back i went for a little walk in it, it was so nice, made me very happy...and wet. i came inside, grabbed a quick bite, and had a short nap.
tonight i'm going to my friend mel's in waterloo, going out to the bar with her for a while, so knows what craziness we'll get up to. and saturday night one of andrew's friends from work is having a party, so andrew, jamie and myself are planning to be in attendance. and we told jamie's sister we'd give her $10 to drive us there and come pick our drunk asses up at whatever time in the morning we call her, and she went for it *thumbs up*
i'm looking forward to a super excellent weekend off, yay!
