Current Music: From Autumn to Ashes - The Fiction We Live
so i went to my friend tom's show tonight, for moral support mostly. i'm not really a huge fan of the music, but i like the guys in his band and it's an excuse for me to get out of the house. they played second of 4 bands. and quite a bit went wrong while they were on. for example, tom broke a guitar string, then grabbed a new guitar and broke a string on that one too, then had to borrow someone else's guitar for the rest of their set.
the band that played after them, Of The First Born Son, blew me away. they were fucking awesome. i asked the guitarist after their set if they had a cd, but they don't. they're recording next week though, so i'll have to make sure to make it out to one of their future shows to purchase it. if these guys are ever playing anywhere near you and you're a metal fan, i highly reccomend checking them out.
i just got home from the show, and i'm not sure whether or not i'll be sleeping tonight. we'll see what happens.
