Current Music: Killswitch Engage - Alive or Just Breathing
so i figure it's about time i update...it's been a while.
i was hoping i'd have tons of exciting aventures to speak of from my week off work....but no. my week went like this:
days 1&2 - sat around being all bored
day 3 - party in waterloo, everyone was asleep by 3 and i sat up alone till the sun came up
day 4 - driving home i got in a car accident
days 5-9 - called around looking to find parts for my car
so my vacation wasn't really worthy of the thumbs up i was hoping it would. it actually kinda sucked.
then when i got back to work it turned out that while i was away, nobody worked my department. i just finnished cleaning up everything and catching up on all the overstock before i left, to make things easy for whoever was to be put in my place, and i come in to 26 skids of toys waiting for me to work them. it took me 5 days to catch up on them all, and starting today i'm off for another 3, so i'll have a shit load of work to do when i get back sunday night.
i wrote a check for the dude i hit, and i offered to drive up there and drop it off, but he insisted that i mail it to him, so i dropped it in the mail. he called me just about every day saying that he hadn't received it yet, and so yesterday i pulled out the police report, and i read to him the address that is on his driver's license, the address i mailed to check to, but apparently he doesn't live there anymore. how the fuck did he think he'd get the check if he didn't even give me the correct addres to send it to!?!? but we got taht fixed, so there's one thing i don't have to stress out about anymore. i now have to worry about getting my car all fixed, i've picked up the new hood and headlights, i need the right turning light and i need a new windsheild. and i need it all put on. i miss my car, i've been driving father's car to and from work and whatnot since the accident, and sure it runs fine and gets me from point a to point b as it needs to, but it doesn't have the $3000 stereo system that my car does, i miss that the most. yesterday after work i went and sat in my car just listening to the stereo, it made my day.
i have to clean up the house and cut the lawn soon, my aunt and cousins are comming over tommorow for the weekend and the one cousin is bringing his girlfriend to meet the family, so it's my job to make the place presentable.
oh, i wrote my exam for my night class last week too...i think it went pretty well, i walked into the exam with a 92% and i thought the exam was way too easy, i finnished it in like 45 mins and it was supposed to take 2 hours. i think i did good. and i am now finally finnished highschool.
