Current Music: NOFX - So Long and Thanks For All the Shoes

i called in sick for work today. actually is was still kind of last night when i called. i went to waterloo last night with monica to visit melissa and go out to phils! i don't know why it took us so long to go on a thursday night, thursdays are heavy metal night, it was very enjoyable. it was pretty dead but i still had fun and got very drunk. we had pizza after the bar and took a cab back to melissa's house. it took me a little while to remember to call work, we left a note, but i don't think we saw it when we got back. i made some excuse about my girlfriend's dad having a heart attack and i was staying with her in waterloo and most likely wouldn't make it into work. it's a good thing i don't talk to very many people at work, nobody there knows that i don't actually have a girlfiend, and i was just drunk

the only person at work that i do talk to on a regular basis plays in a band, The Jeremy Whyte Project, and i promised him a couple weeks ago that i'd make it out to his show tonight. so that's what i'll be doing today. if there's anyone that reads this anytime soon in the toronto area that's interested, it's at the brunswick house or something like that right near the u of t campus. i'll be there, apparently there's some good music, or at least that's what he tells me.

i don't have any plans for the rest of the weekend yet, so we'll just have to wait and see what happens.

i'm still really excited about going on my trip
i'm leaving in a month. and i'm throwing a party at my house before i go. june 10th, if anyone really wants to come i can give directions. it will be fun
