the past few days have been fairly uneventful. except for friday. Meishka and a friend of hers were going to see the heatskores play a show in guelph, and i tagged along. then we went back to her place and had a few drinks. i bought a bottle of absente earlier in the day and it was still in my car so i pulled it out while there. i was expecting a little more out of it. from the same bottle i've seen friends get all fucked up, but i was just really drunk. oh well. i got to play with the kitties for a while before Meishka woke up in the morning. then i got directions and came home.

oh, and they started laying off some of the temps at work yesterday. i'm safe so far. *crosses fingers* i really can't afford to be jobless right now.
