fuck ya! there's a show about platypusses on the discovery channel right now!!! i love the discovery channel at times like this

so apparently the department manager position i applied for was taken down....they've decided not to fill it, i think it's just because they don't think i should be around the public. the walmart doesn't want customers to see all the metal in my face and whatnot. i can hide them, i can keep my hair down, i can look presentable, but they've never bothered to say anything to me about it. last time i applied for a day shift, everyone can admit that i was the most qualified of the 10 or so people that wanted it, but they decided to go with someone else at the last minute and they could not give me a good reason why i didn't get the job. and this time, i was the only person that wanted it, so they took down the posting. the support manager overnights likes me, he said he'd do whatever he can to help me advance, and mentioned that he said to one of the assistant managers that maybe department 82 could have a department manager on overnights....i don't think he understands that i'm really looking to get off nights, to actually have a social life, but i appreciate him trying to help. he's a nice guy, a lot of people only see the grumpy him after he just got in shit from someone else, or when he works 23 nights straight. but he really is a good guy, i like him.

enough walmart talk, i hate walmart ....but that's really about all i've got....one more night then i'm off for 3! i don't have any plans as of yet, but i'll keep my fingers crossed that something comes up. i hate it when my weekends off result in nothing.
