Holy shit the Gala was a blast! There were lots of folks there, but there was still plenty of room to move around in the back. I really enjoyed how there were lots of little separate places to sit down. I wandered the venue drunk just looking for folks that I knew or that I could talk to. Me being a Metallica fan I did eventually talk to the girl with the Ride The Lightning shirt on. (You automatically score big points with me for being a metalhead.) I ran into Iso and FasterFeet37 there also. Then I started dancing. The only time I even think about dancing is when I'm extremely drunk, and then the only time I actually do dance is when I'm in a foreign country. I remember dancing with FasterFeet37 and that was fun. I was also dancing with KristaMarie. As long as I have someone to dance with and help me out, I'm okay with dancing. I also ran into Maligne and took some pictures with her and her friend. It was a damn good time.
Then we ran into trouble getting everyone back into the hotel room. King_Mob had to sneak me up, and then somehow everyone got upstairs through the security and all ended back up in the hotel room. I was scared we were going to get busted so I kind of sat on the corner of the bed in case we all had to hide in the bathroom, which we did when the Mohawk crew came up because someone wrote "Eat A Dick" on their wall with a sharpie. We all met Effie and Nali, who I found out loved the John Rambo trailer and goes fishing. I never realized how gorgeous Nali was until I met her in person. Wow. Oh, and the star shaped nipples too.
It was a great time.
Then on Saturday, after we got back to King_Mob's, place, I headed directly to Dizzle's place so I could drive to Ohio.

I had a great weekend. Between the Gala, seeing all my SG friends, C_K and the Ferg, and seeing Vernal and his family in Ohio, it was one of the best times I've had in a while. I hope Botcon 2007 is going to be as fun.
