Rio Station - Rio Grande, NJ 4/18/05
Some pre show anxiety led to a rather off night on my part. The stage lights are also way too low at the Rio which leaves it feeling a couple degrees cooler then Hell (And I wasn't the only one complaining, the other bands did too). My voice is still not 100% to begin with from all my recent illnesses plus add in those lights and my backing vocals were just about non existent. Also my heart condition almost kicked in several times yet again. My morale is at an all time low. Several fans and friends said how much they liked it. Either they're way too generous or I'm just too critical. I just like to give it my all when I play. I feel I let people down when I'm not at the top of my game. Anyway, enough of the pity party.
Raucous turned in a damn fine set. Their first show in 2 months. Hope Damien didn't fuck his leg back up. Not all of my co-workers showed up but a few did including "Yo Yo" & Tiffany who I had to sneak in. George and Redd Skare made it down for the set. Got to hang out with the "silly sisters". Let them know they're more than welcome to hang out. "My Son" & "Daughter in-law" (Mike & Renee) were there as well. House Divided kicked ass as usual but I had to cut out before their set was done.
