Didn't know if we were gonna make this gig as Andy called me the night before and told me some lady ran a light and hit the van! Spun him completely around. He's OK, but I think the van is gonna need a new rear axle. So we only had 2 cars between us to lug up our gear. Brian from Just In Case was kind enough to let me use his drum kit, so that really helped us out. So between my car and the kid's bug, we fit everything else that we needed.

We got there kinda early, so we found a table, set up the merch and waited. Our most loyal Sheckie kids Matt, Judy, Sean, & Eric showed up and were happy to finally get their hands on the DVD. Later on Kite, Marisa, her friend (sorry I don't know her name, I don't ever think I was introduced) and son showed up. He's a little guy and was proudly wearing a shirt that he bought. So it was sit around and crack jokes waiting for the show to start as it was going over the supposed start time.

A Case Of Hysteria played first. Kinda hard to categorize the sound. They had a keyboard driven modern sound but with a classic rock sound kinda underneath it all. I know I enjoyed it. Us dopes would be up next. Brian got the kit together for me. I used my own cymbals and kick pedal. Set up didn't take that long, Brian hit the green light for us, and we were off.

I really liked the kit, but it was, I dunno, quiet almost is the best way to describe it. I really couldn't hear the kick drum and forget about hearing the guitar or bass. I was just going on the vocals monitor and it seemed we were chasing each other all night. I know I was on ludicrous speed too! LOL! Andy told me later he couldn't hear the snare at all, and that's what he goes on. Somehow or other we managed to pull the mess all together. At least all our friends were up front having fun. We somehow managed to clear the room though. Guess all the teenyboppers wanted a prettier and quieter band to look at, not any disgusting Sheckies! At least we still had a good time and are now only $30 short from getting "Fear & Loathing in NJ" mastered! Andy was pretty tired, so we split right after we done playing. Thanks again to Just In Case for inviting us.
