Fear & Loathing Sessions - Day 11 (it's done!.....I think....)
Last night's trip was probaly the most fun we had yet. We brought along Tweety for the ride and she flashed her boobs at a stunned toll collector and then 'ol Philmore himself. What a way to say hello! There were a lotta laughs as usual, almost distracting Phil from his job at hand (I know Tweety's cleavage kept distracting me!). But after a lotta hard work, this puppy is finished....well I think it is...Andy still has to listen to it 562 times thru his headphones before it meets his impeccable standards!
From here it's on to mastering and hopefully release on a small label. Keep those friggin' fingers crossed!
It was pretty smooth sailing for the most part. The song that was the most challenging was "Cut Marks" this time around. The levels were all over the place and ear fatigue was setting in. After several tries and some real nail biting, it was done. We decided just to scrap "Totally Worthless". Maybe we'll re-work it the next time around, I jsut know it was taking away from the whole "flow" of the CD. Here's what the final running order should look like...
