Fear & Loathing sessions - Day 10
We pretty much decided we were unhappy with the 1st 3 songs we did at the last mixdown. As I stated way back in the beginning of the sessions, we want this to be the quinesential Sheckie CD (up to this point of course). I know Andy was unhappy with the way a lot of our previous songs came out sounding, and being the perfectionist he is, this has to be done just right.
So Andy went back in and recorded the "I hate you too" lines in "Girls With Boyfriends". We also decided to take out the "whoa-ohs" on the first verse of "Stoopid Movie" (makes it sound way better me thinks, I like the feel better when they come in on the 2nd verse). "Totally Worthless" for now we skipped over. We just might go back in to re-record those backing vocs.
Phil was on a definate roll last night. We actually got the majority of the songs mixed. The only song that gave us a bitch of a time was "I've Got Problems" of all things. Should probaly take only one more session to get the rest done.
There were more hi-jinks a plenty last night. Friggin' Andy took the Queers song "I Can't Stop Farting" to heart last night gagging us all. At one point Penny and him went for the old stand by of trying to light his farts on fire. So here is Andy exposing his horrible ass and Penny trying to light them up. *wretch* At one point the flame actually got sucked back into Andy's ass! It could've been a tragic situation to say the least, but of course we're all rolling on the floor. No more friggin' chinese food for that dope!
