I'm just enjoying some quiet time for a bit. Things are going to be getting hectic from here on out between work and the band. Work especially in the next week or so. 3 awful events. 1 - Memorial Day Weekend, 2 - End of required spending this month (we go thru this every friggin' year, the idiot club members have a full year to use up their coupons but they always seem to wait for that last week in May to load up on huge to go orders), 3 - the Spring golf tournement. Starting Saturday my life will be hell until further notice.

The big show June 15th will be here before I know it. I think there's going to be a nice turnout. We've been doing our best to promote it. Our mini-tour for July is almost set. Should be 9 shows in 9 days. right now 6 of them are confirmed, the other 3 should be soon as well. I'm trying to be excited about it, but you know me. My pessimism knows no bounds. Will I die on tour? Wish I could just be happy for once.

I just get pissed off at myself. I always have a great time at practice or in the studio. Put me on stage and I'm like a deer in the headlights. I never used to be this way either! Ever since that friggin' Rio Station show when my heart almost kicked in I've basically been a wreck. I do fake it pretty good and I actually do have fun for the most part. Just wish I could shake my dopey fears.

I finally heard from Sofia thru My Space. Apparently her Dad beat her up, kicked her out, and she's disowned from her family. Lovely. Wish there was more I could do or say, but I'm in no position myself. At least I can be here to listen to her if she needs to talk. So far she really hasn't taken me up on that offer.

Bought tickets to see the Crowes in Philly 7/29. I already got a copy of the Johnson City show I was at last week. Such a great show it was!

Lots of music I've been getting in. I rarely listen to it while I'm online anymore. Someone needs to invite a way you can listen to your music thru your computer speakers while whatever you're looking at online is muted. My Space is great for that, you're surfing along and suddenly someone's profile is blasting something. I'm sure there's a way already, I'm just to inept to figure it out.
