Work has been kicking my ass. It's kinda hard to get back into the swing of things when you've been used to working 15 or less hours a week for several months. I basically worked 30 hours in 3 days Friday, Saturday, & Sunday. The kicker was working Saturday night then having to be there at 7 Sunday morning. I was so fucking tired I gave up my tickets for the Pretenders concert Sunday night at the HOB in AC. At least they didn't go to waste. I was able to transfer them over to my friend George. I considered it a really early b-day gift.

Really exciting news for the band. We set up a big "school's out/start of Summer" show for June 15th. It will feature several out of state bands including Johnie 3, The Prozacs, The Leftovers, & NRL. As well as The Apers all the way from The Netherlands! This will be one fun night and I'm forward to a great turnout. The party afterwards should be a blast as well.

Still haven't really got any dates confirmed yet for our own mini-tour in July. We're working hard on it though.

Cindy's b-day was on Monday. I got to share a nice phone call with her. Her gifts shipped from Amazon. She's excited to get them.

Rumor has it the Black Crowes are going to play the Borgota again on either May 28th or June 4th. You know I'm stoked for that!

We had a short practice yesterday. Andy's ex-GF Shannon came over to watch. Glad they're friends again. Poor girl has been thru a lot. She needs some postive influences in her life. Was nice seeing her again for the first time in 8 years. We're playing a surprise party Saturday. Should be fun!

Not much else going on. I'll probaly end up with a little overtime this week. I gotta start saving for July!
