I got the 1971 animated Chuck Jones produced version of "A Christmas Carol" yesterday. I had bought a bootleg copy off Ebay. I've seen originals selling for over $60! I've already watched it 3 times!! The animation is simply incredible. What a crime that this isn't availible on DVD. And yes, I could see why it scared the begeesus out of me all those years ago. It's way to intense for a kid! It scared me so much that I threw a very old edition of the book out in the trash back then.
Thank God, I think the CD is FINALLY done. What a pain in the ass this session has been. What we thought would take a few minutes turned into a few hours. We had trouble getting the proper spaces between tracks. But now it's done and the next step is sending it off to be mastered. So we're still a month or so away from it actually being availible for purchase.
God did I get pissed though. Friggin' Penny hid my "noorishment" from Wawa. I exploded! K told me later she was scared. She never saw me that angry. Never fuck with a fattie's "heroin"! I was telling Andy & George on the ride home that I don't think I could be in the same van with Penny for any kind of tour. We just clash so much. Totally different personalities. I still can't tell if he just loves fucking with me or truely doesn't like me. Either way, I wouldn't want to play with anyone else. Once we get on stage everything is fine.
Less than a week away from the big "Punk Rock Xmas" show. I've really done my best to pimp it thru My Space and such. Hope we have a good turnout.
