i'm getting old.

simple.

my metabolism stopped acting so fast around the age 30 and now that i gave up smoking (because of my worries of my health) i've started to put on weight really fast...

so in an act to stop the aging process i went for a run...

i ran a marathon back in the day... i was the fastest kid in my grade school...

today i couldn't make it a half a block with out feeling like the oldest person in the world...

it didn't help that i live in a college town and all the kids that are whizzing by me are fast and nimble...

did i mention that i'm getting old?

it kind of sneaked up on me...

but i don't want to be unhealthy...

i know that half my emotional problems will be solved if i just took better care of my body (which is a better thought than thinking that my emotional problems will be solved if i didn't exist)

so i'm going to run... i'm going to eat better... and i think i'm even going to start taking pills that will make me happy (the ones that the shrinks tell you to take... i think it's called Soma)
