A combination of no moola, waning extraneous time, and the recent turn that the site has taken...
the turn of which I speak is the creeping commercialism of the site...
I'm sure that plenty don't agree with me, but I've noticed a lot of little things -- some corporate/product tie ins, the co-option by playboy, a sneaking suspicion that some of the new girls are professional models, etc...
All of which is fine and dandy, but not so much for me... I liked the diy, underground aspect of the site. so all that, coupled with the money and time issues have led me to reassess.
I might re-join later on, but for the moment I am taking a break...

ugh.
you're one of my most favouritestestestest members EVER for real. sad sad sad. i understand your reasoning though. all of the changes certainly aren't for everyone...even moreso for those who don't have a ton of money to be throwing around.
i'd love it if you were to stay in touch with me though. eeeeemail can be a beautiful thing, my fine feathered friend.
