What an incredible day!!!!!!
It officially started after midnight with what was suppose to be a short phone call from arachnequarius; my big mouth and constant rambling caused it to be a longer than anticipated, yet supremely enjoyable time. A very restful sleep on the living room floor with Sierra followed, I love when she wakes me up in the morning patting my face.
A wholesome breakfast, followed by a ton of phone calls from clients needing work done, so I drug Sierra to several of the client sites. I worked and she entertained the masses.
We grabbed a quick lunch, and it was interrupted by a phone call from her mother insisting that I bring her to daycare immediately. That was a bummer, Sierra wanted to spend "just me and you time" with me, and was more than disappointed when we had to go. To calm her down about it, I used my lawyers photocopier to make copies of my face (in a lot of different angles and expressions, and one with me and Sierra's hands together. It was a hit and she wanted to take them to school for show and tell. She's is so easy to please.
Now for what I hope is to lead to the fulfillment of a life long dream. I got a call from the Wallingford Public School District. They have an adult education program and they need instructors to teach computer related classes like office, web design, and the like. They have officially invited me in for an interview and to talk over availability and all that. I have always wanted to be a teacher, and although it isnt the same as being a real honest to goodness teacher, its close enough to make me happy.
The truth of the matter is that I cant remember being as inspired as I am right now, and I have you wonderful people to thank for it. You guys rule, and I am so deeply honored to have you in my life. Thanks for everything.
