I'm seeing a disturbing trend in the 'discussions' lately here on SG.
A flare in abusive, intolerant and angry posts, largely biased on race or country (and in one lame case, state) much of it done in the name of 'Conservative values'.
Even more, many of the people arguing for civility or acting the 'good guys' part in threads are the ones being so abusive and intolerant and racist.
Or, maybe I'm just paying attention more?
Or maybe this is the tell tale signs of the world backsliding in to the 1930s way of thinking of things?

I don't really pay attention to the majority of discussions here on SG, at least as far as the agressive attack posts. Most of the groups that I do pay attention to are light hearted in nature (Wrestling Fans, Star Wars, Transformers, etc.) I have a hard time seeing/reading negativity, especially where people's beliefs/race are viciously attacked. I don't mind discussing these things in person on occasion, but it's not something I care to do that often, especially home after work when all I want to do is veg out and enjoy life for a few hours before it is back to work.
