the way it is in a field of bones,
living on the rain.
a prayer sinks through the soil.
everybody have faith.
don't dream it's over; this is our
always. the dust goes on,
with or without you, god simply
looking for a place to settle,
a new love to wrap up,
head to toe in glittering ash.

Walk like the streets belong to you
alone; nothing but the shadows to
shake you down. In the evening mist,
dance with somebody made from the air.
Nothing's going to stop the night, but
c'est la vie. The fog swirls, and
