i have been watching the seasons of The Tudors. King Henry VIII was a bastard. The man was absolutely nutty in his head. He was unreliable, deceitful, and basically a huge asshole. Its amazing that no one just shanked him.

On that note, i'll be heading home in a week for leave. i really can't wait!

yup....Christmas away from home really sucks. I definitely don't recommend spending your Christmas in Iraq or Afghanistan. It's not that fun. But at least i got the day off. I've been in Iraq for roughly....eh...170 days and this was the first day i had off. I actually got really bored, interesting stuff.

i just spent the last hour or so looking over the promotion regulations because my 2LT roomie hasnt gotten promoted yet. The reg is only like 64 pages long. Oh and then add the fact that he's National Guard and now i dont know what to do. Its frustrating handling shit like that when you're deployed.
