tonight through tomorrow night expect to see lots of falling stars. the earth is moving through a Persiad meteor shower for the next couple nights. peaking on the 13th.

might be fun to show to my date. well, not actually a date, just some girl who rejected me and said she didn't really want to hang out with me... suddenly wanted to hang out with me tonight. i was like whatever, and she suggested drinks, and i was like, i'll see ya there. sure beats drinking alone. i guess...

i guess i'm cool enough to buy her a bunch of drinks. haha. not that i'm the kind of guy to take advantage of that situation [which i believe even if i wanted to, i still couldn't, she's made her intentions painfully clear - not that i asked, mind], but i guess it wouldn't be bad if she were intoxicated she might at least be a little nicer. but, in such dismall situations as this, i think i did the right thing in swearing off dating.

except for the little nowegian hottie where i work. we made eye contact, and she smiled.... at me, or at least someone in my immediate vicinty. i just froze. i don't even know right now if i smiled. might've just been a look of abject terror. hehe, god i suck.
