well, this is it. the first entry. yep.... hmn, so what happened that was remotely interesting today? i helped my dad cut down some trees that were blocking our view....of even more trees. it would've helped out loads if i could have got the chainsaw working, if it did, i probably would have just attached it to my hand and mirked some deadites.

um, hmn, what else? i watched a couple of excellent movies today. the conversation with gene hackman for one. excellent screenplay and cinematography by coppola, and a very interesting character study overall. the second movie i watched was king of comedy with robert deniro and jerry lewis. i can't say enough wonderful things about this movie. the wonderful, shy, ineptness and social awkwardness of rupert pupkin, why it almost reminds me of.... me. if you enjoy good movies, you owe it to yourself to watch these repeatedly. now go and find 'em!

well, i think it's been a fairly productive first day as a member, i got myself a profile, and even my first friend. well, i've known her for a while, but we hadn't talked for a few months until i found out we were both members. sorry i let it go that long but, eh at least i'm getting to talk to her again. yay!
