my treatise on music: i like instrumental stuff as of late. i've recently been into this russian mp3 page that kicks ass and i've downloaded like 6 pink floyd albums i've never had before. they;re sensational. i love 20 minute songs. i love to take that journey and see what people are trying to conjure up inside of you. not to say that lyrics are awful. i just think that using lyrics is an easy way of creating an emotional response from the listener. whereas in the instrumentals, you rely solely on the expression of the instrument itself. yeah, no shit sherlock. but for real... i'm drunk and about to get drunker.
if you have shotime, you need to watch dexter, or if you have a barnes and noble near you should buy the book darkly dreaming dexter. it's awesome. it's about a serial killer who only kills other serial killers, as a way of catching the guys who fall through the cracks. his dad was a cop, his sister's a cop and he works as a blood spatter analyst for the miama police dept. as well. there's dead janitors, headless hookers, and vivisected barbie dolls. it's the most original shit i've seen in a while.
