Tour Entry No. 5
All right, now I am in Jacksonville, Florida.The show tonight went well. We're staying with this guy Matt, who invited us to crash at his pad. The show tomorrow is cancelled, so we have a day off. After that, we play Alabama, then Tennessee on the 4th of July. Another day of on the 5th, then we start the second leg of our tour, with Conducting from the Grave, from Sacramento. Crazy shit as of late,man, the fucking venue we played at in North Carolina, the fucking door guy had a gun. He carried a .38 in a holster on his hip, visible, since he didn't have a permit to conceal it. Apparently, everyone at the bars and clubs that run those places, they all carry or have a firearm in the place. He said that everyone knows you're armed, so they don't fuck with you, or try to rob your venue or anything. Crazy shit. I felt safer though. We were in the fucking ghetto. The place was nicknamed "the Ghetto Fortress." Besides that, TTEOTD bounced today. They were supposed to finish the tour on the 4th, but they were running out of money, so today was our last night together, hanging out and shit. Nothing else new, really. Just bullshit band drama, typical shit that happens when people are stuck together, 24 hours a day, for 3 weeks in a row. Shit happens, but I'm having a blast.
