Tour entry No. 3
So, haven't been at a computer in a few days. Played in this big mansion that looked like it belonged to a coke dealer, some drug lord or something. next day, we played in Corona, at the showcase, which was ill. pretty goood turnout and response. EJ, who runs Prosthetic, said he thought we did really well. Then, we played in Phoenix, Arizona, at the Phix, this art gallery place. It was pretty good, it sounded decent. They hooked us up with spaghetti, which was cool. We were supposed to play in Vegas the next day, but it turns out there was a shooting at the Roadhouse, so the show got cancelled, and the promoter couldn't move it to another venue. We decided to go there anyway, and just spend the day off in Vegas. I had never been there before. It was fun overall, even though I lost 200 bucks, which I definitely could not afford to lose. Fucking blows. Swimming and free drinks was cool though, and walking down the main strip with a beer in my hand, that was a first. Last night, we played at this super small music shop in bumfucked Provo, Utah. It sounded okay. We got to play with our friends in this band Clifton, and they fucking rock, brutally. We sold a decent amount of stuff, which is cool. The bassist from Through The Eyes Of The dead jumped ship, and flew home. he couldn't hang with the tour apparently. Their singer got pinkeye too, and their guitarist has the fucking flu. Their just fucked altogether. We are playing at jesters theatre in Longmont, Colorado tonight. Hopefully it's a decent turn out. Everywhere in these shittty places, like Wyoming, Arizona, Colorado, Utah, it's all just really fucking undeveloped, basically.Tons of open land that smells like shit. Gnarly. Anyway, we're gonna roll to walmart and safeway for provisions and shit, and I have to change my strings.
