So, I've been up to a lot lately. Haven't composed a blog in a long time. I actually was in the middle of writing a few nights ago, but my mom set off our house alarm, which send me offline, because a signal gets sent out to the alarm company over the phoneline. Curse my dial-up, what can I say. Anyway, lots of shit going on. The main reason I haven't really written as much lately, is simply due to my occupation. I am scheduled to work at 8:30 every morning, though I rarely show up on time. More often than not I arrive at work between 9 and 10 AM, which is still early for me. This means I can't binge drink and stay up until 3 or 4 in the morning, ranting in a drunken stupor. I've actually had to excercise SOME self restraint. What little inhibition I have is dissolved when I drink, allowing some creative juices to flow. Anyway thats the connection. Can't stay up late, can't drink as much or as often, can't write as much or as often. So, saw Episode III way before everyone else, at Skywalker Ranch. That was ill. I was on TRL. Gun hands forever, and death metal growls, you can hear it pretty good. It's pretty funny. PLayed some CD release shows last week. Went pretty well overall. Thanks to all my friends that came out, if you're reading this, you know who you are. I appreciate the support. I'm going on tour in a short while. I leave June 10th, so less than a month now. I got a rafting trip to look forward to in June, also. Hmm, what else. Fuck, I dunno. Episode III was so fucking epic and evil, it was awesome. There were some celebrities too, but no one really cool, except the folks from that 70's show, Seth Green, and Elijah Wood. I went to a signing/reading in Menlo Park, because Chuck Palahniuk was there. I bought his new book, Haunted, and got him to sign it. He's pretty rad, he read a story from the book (it's a compilation of short stories, to say the least ), and he threw out these fake plastic severed hands, feet, arms, legs, it was pretty cool, just hucking fake severed body parts into the crowd. I can't get started on that yet, I'm still reading Desperation, this Stephen King book, one of a billion of his I have picked up at thrift stores and discount book stores here and there. Fuck man, I know there was some other new events going down. Got another show this Sunday coming up.....hmm....Allison's birthday tomorrow....Saturday going to a show....band practice, etc....A show next week on Friday, too. Psh, yeah, thats about it. Oh yeah, no more cell phone, so everyone, just email me, I check it at work, and I can just call out from work. Yar har. Tonight just got me wanting to write a book, or something, probably more like a graphic novel. I already have a sort of horror story idea, pretty cool comic type idea, but it would be mature, adult content. Yeah, maybe I'll work on an outline this summer while I'm on tour. I should have a lot of time on my hands, that's for sure. Reading, and maybe some writing. I'm going to grow my beard until August, when I come back, and then I'm going to trim it back. I'll keep growing my hair though. Man, I've got nothing ot bitch about, really, except I'm poor, and thats about it. I'm out, need to finish some laundry, and take a shower before bed. Night.
