I almost forgot to mention the best part of my weekend. I was taking photos of the MINI Coopers at Fontana Village, when this man walks up to me. He knows who I am right away and introduces himself. He then asks if I would mind having my picture taken with his daughter, of course I say yes, how could I decline? His daughter is this thin girl about 5ft 5in, with red hair and freckles, she looks about 16-17 yo. While getting ready for the photo she tells me that I am her inspiration for learning to ride.
I was speechless! Her family follows my husbands web site, which he has me on there from time to time. Mostly it is weekly updates from Deals Gap. The family is from Florida and was here for a BMW bike rally in north GA. I told her next time she was up this way to let me know and I would try and go riding with her.
It is just such a great feeling that I may have had a positive effect on someone's life and brought another female rider out on the roads.

I didnt realise people rode sportsbikes in the states,thought it was all cruisers,thats ignorance for you
