Sunday morning at 10am and not a thing to do except look through the newspaper classifieds for a job. No TV and I must get off this 'puter soon. Waah, I have almost no money to pay the bills. Waah, when is Publishers Clearing House going to come and give me my money? Ok, that's about all the crying and selfpity I can handle. 
Had a grand ole time at the movies yesterday with the acting class. We had to choose a film to watch and figure out who was the protagonist. I went to see "Crash" which by the way if you haven't seen you should. It's about people being not all bad and not all good, about racial pretenses and how we are all like that to some point. But, I digress. It was fun and educational to discuss, not the film itself, but more the writing and acting choices that go into the making of a film. The truth of the matter was that since there are serveral paths in this film all going in the same direction it was hard to feel out, as a beginner, which character whas the protagonist of the whole story. It was a great learning experience that opened my mind to a different way of seeing these things and although I enjoyed the film I think I would have enjoyed it more from just an audience point of view rather than as a student.
The exercise here was to see the choices that the actors commited to for their particular character. Their attitude, body language, facial expressions all combine to flesh out the charater and make it real, and did it fit that character? How did their choices work out? Did it work or not?

i just bought some tea trea oil and went into the bathroom at my work and dabbed each bite with it. they're all actually feeling waaaay better. i'll look into the diet thing. i got most of these bites on saturday, and you guessed it. we were outside at around 5:30pm, doing a karate workout. gaaah! now i KNOW!
